Which are the best websites for researching Irish genealogy?
Saturday, March 15th, 2008Amadea Rose asked:
Hi
My grandad turns 91 soon and he’d love to see all the family history so I’m very keen to research into it. I am aware that its harder to find Irish records, or at least that they often aren’t on the common english sites.
Was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

you will find lots of FREE info and many paid sites. use the free first, then the paid, then hire a proto do the rest. 5 generations is fun, the restis detective work. If you have time and money, enjoy travel and really want to to you 15th generation, go for it. Happy hunting.
i just wanted to see how many people trace their ancestors and how.

Genealogy – need information on Luke Kincaid B1876 in Indiana?
Sunday, March 2nd, 2008plathfan asked:
B1876 Indiana
lived in KS, after 1899
father George, mother Nancy Daugherty
Luke is my greatgrandfather and I seem to have hit a dead end in researching him. I can find information on his military records for WWI and some census records, but no death records or information on his decendents other than my grandmother.
